Disturbing Recording Captures Moment Police Are Stabbed in Surprise Attack

A ranking policeman who rushed to the help of a partner that was assaulted by a blade-wielder received the King's Commendation for Valor.

Sergeant Tim Ansell struggled against 27-year-old Jacob Brown subsequent to he held a weapon to the neck of his colleague Sgt Marc Foster.

Brown launched his attack as the officers and their partner, Police Constable Marcus Wolstencroft, were conversing to a driver subsequent to a vehicle incident in that location in summer 2023.

Brown attacked with blade both Sgt Ansell and Sergeant Foster before Police Constable Wolstencroft stunned him with a stun gun.

Sergeant Ansell stated audibly: "Can I get something on my neck here, I got knifed in the neck."

Sergeant Ansell sustained two deep cuts to his throat and more injuries to his limbs and torso, whereas Sergeant Foster received knife wounds.

The department stated Sgt Foster employed his hands to stop his partner's hemorrhaging prior to medical personnel reached the scene.
